An excellent 3 night stay, we'll definitely use this hotel again. I visit Leamington spa quite a bit but hadn't used this Travelodge before, was really impressed by it though & won't hesitate to book another stay. Worked out about £70 per night for our twin room on the third floor, which is the upgrade room type. Very quiet all 3 nights with no disturbance or noise. The WiFi is included in with the upgrade rooms & that was really good/strong signal. Bed's nice & comfy to get a good night's sleep. Location is brilliant as is right in the heart of the town so shops, restaurants, bus stop are right there as soon as you step outside the door. Train station is an easy 5 mins walk away, as is the local theatre for live music. A nice couple of parks are so close by too if you want a stroll. The building itself is a really old hotel that the company has taken on & you can therefore see the nice, old decor throughout - Fab stained glass windows, beautiful staircases, high ceilings, solid walls etc. Staff were good - the guy that checked us in - Sri - we saw each day, he was great & very friendly. On the whole we couldn't fault anything & we'll book again next time we're in the lovely area of Leamington spa. Many thanks for a great stay.

I stayed at the Travelodge in room 315 at Leamington over the Halloween weekend for 2 nights as I was DJing at one of the local clubs. I would highly suggest staying at this venue, amazing staff from start to finish who seemed to be there 24/7, super attentive and friendly, was there to help with getting an iron, extra cutlery etc. The only drawback was that the lock on my specific door was faulty so couldn’t lock it from the inside, which wasn’t a big deal for me at all as I was getting back at 3/4am on both nights and wasn’t leaving any valuables - as well as this, at 10pm they lock the main doors so only people with a hotel key can enter the building which made travelling solo feel much safer. I’m sure they would have changed my room if I had asked, but just didn’t feel like a big deal for me at the time so decided not to especially on such a busy weekend. Another thing I’d mention is the breakfast situation, it is all served “to-go” as they don’t have a restaurant on-site, but again as I was only there for the weekend I was more than happy to go to the local Gail’s / other cafes and they made it very clear at the time of booking that this was the case. Overall super positive, the room was basic but had everything I needed, nice and clean, with spare pillows if needed. If and when I come back I’ll definitely be booking again!

The room was huge and clean. However there was no mattress or pillow protectors and there was a long hair in the shower. Very convenient to the shops.

Excellent experience with all the stories in the press was apprehensive about my wife staying there upon my arrival I was greeted by the manager Paul I was asked quite a few questions before he confirmed my wife was staying here even down to her middle initial and post code of our house and door number and this put me at ease straight away about security very professional and courteous. The room was beautiful with stunning staircase in the main building. room was very fresh smelling and cosy. Will definitely be staying again and manager Paul is a credit to your company with his professionalism.

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Building is beautiful with lots of history. Would be really nice to see pictures of the hotel as it was years ago on the entrance walls for guests to read and keep tradition going. Couldn't fault this at all. Would definitely use again.

A simple and grand hotel - if you like huge rooms, comfort and basic amenities and is not looking for needless luxury, stay here - great location, a delightful feeling of the past without the prices that usually come with it! I would return anytime.

Hmm. Loads of bad reviews? We loved it. Has recently been refurbished. It is a stunning historic grade II listed hotel with loads of history. The grand staircase and stain glass windows are super! The rooms are grand / big high ceilings but it is the same travelodge. Provide 2 bath towels and a hand towel. They no longer provide bath mats? hand wash and shampoo in dispensers. floors are a bit squeaky, but, it is nice to have a room with character. Everyone around us were quite and we were by the staircase! (Room 208) great place, highly recommend. Parking is paid but close by, multi story. Got the room so cheap paid parking was fine!
